For the next season, the 12th for the World Series event, a circuit will run from Aug. 20 to Aug. 31 at Horseshoe and feature a dozen ring events. The winner of the tournament on Aug. 26 – the casino's one-year anniversary – will get a $10,000 seat in the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. Horseshoe's second circuit stop will run from March 24 to April 4 and also feature 12 ring events.

"The World Series of Poker is the most prestigious brand in the game, and we're thrilled to be the only casino in the state to offer players the legendary experience of competing in WSOP Circuit events," Anthony Chester, poker room manager for Horseshoe, said in the announcement.
