eOriginal aims to accelerate growth with new CEO

Brian Madocks has been named the new CEO of eOriginal, a Baltimore-based software firm that enables digital transactions for financial services.

Company officials said Madocks brings 25 years of business technology and application software experience to the company. He previously served as CEO of Rivitas Inc., Vitalyst Inc. and SunGard Higher Education, among other firms.

Stephen Bisbee, who co-founded the company in 1996, will become president and work with Madocks to expand eOriginal's offerings and accelerate company growth.

The company now uses its eAsset Management platform to manage and protect loan and lease agreements and other documents in a digital format throughout their life cycle, including through collateralization, securitization or pledging in the secondary markets, officials said. This allows lenders, for example, to respond to auditors and regulators quickly and with transparency.
