Environmental Recovery Corp., a residual waste-processing facility based in Lancaster, Pa., is expanding into the Baltimore area with the acquisition of two Rosedale companies.
The Lancaster company has acquired Gutter King, a refuse container and disposal business, and AAA Handy Johns, a portable toilet company. The additions will allow Environmental Recovery to increase market share in the Baltimore/Washington area by more than 10 percent, expand its client base and add new services, the company said.
Environmental Recovery, a private, family owned business, collects, processes and recycles non-hazardous waste materials and liquids for industrial clients. In the Baltimore area, marine and government industries are expected to generate new business.
