Missy Conway, a co-founder of Henslee Conway Real Estate, has bought out her partner and renamed the Baltimore brokerage Conway Real Estate.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Her former partner, Anne Henslee, is now with Cummings & Co. Realtors. Both Henslee and a representative for Conway characterized their parting as amicable.
The two founded Henslee Conway in 2012.
"Our brokerage has grown steadily over the past five years as clients as well as real estate agents recognize the value of working with an independent, boutique brokerage," Conway said in a statement.
All of the firm's employees aside from Henslee remain with Conway Real Estate.
Missy Conway was born in Trinidad and Tobago and came to the United States at age 18 to go to college at Temple University in Philadelphia, where she earned a degree in actuarial science. Before starting her real estate career over a decade ago, she was an actuary and taught mathematics.
