Columbia-based ADG Creative will be acquired by Chenega Corp.

ADG Creative, a Columbia-based communications and marketing firm, said Wednesday it has agreed to be acquired by Alaska-based Chenega Corp., an Alaska Native Corporation, and will join Chenega’s portfolio of professional services organizations.

ADG Creative serves commercial clients as well as agencies such as the Department of Defense. Chenega has been awarded more than 250 federal contracts and has clients in areas such as security, environmental, health care, data sciences and professional services.

The companies did not disclose the acquisition price. The deal is scheduled to close in January, when ADG will become a subsidiary of Chenega.

“There is a critical need for digital transformation throughout the federal government, and the addition of ADG will help ensure that Chenega is there to meet that need,” said John “JC” Campagna, president of Chenega’s military, intelligence and operations support business unit.
