Acac Fitness & Wellness Centers opened its newest Baltimore-area health club Monday inside Green Spring Racquet Club in Lutherville.
Acac Green Spring on Falls Road, the company's third area club, will allow racquet club and gym members to use both facilities. Racquet club members will have access to cardio, free weights, stretching, personal training and group exercise classes such as yoga, pilates and barre. Acac members will have access to racquet sports and a cafe.
The fitness chain entered the Baltimore market in 2015, taking over two Maryland Athletic Club locations in Timonium and Hunt Valley. The company also operates two clubs in Pennsylvania and three in Virginia and says it has more than 50,000 members.
"Our mission is to help each member 'live their best' by engaging them in programs and activities that are a good fit for their needs," Phil Wendel, acac owner, said in an announcement.
Besides fitness facilities, the clubs offer aquatics programs, personal training, youth programs, corporate wellness and fitness for older adults.
