Cockeysville novelty distributor acquires Philadelphia-area rival

A&A Global Industries, a Cockeysville-based distributor of toys and novelties, announced it has acquired the assets of a Philadelphia-area rival.

A&A Global distributes and manufactures toys, novelties, candy, electronics, plush and merchandiser kits for the vending, redemption, amusement and family entertainment industries.

It agreed this week to purchase the assets of Store on Wheels, located in Pennsauken, N.J., just east of Philadelphia, citing that company’s well known product line and customer service.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but all Store on Wheels employees will join A&A Global.

“Joining a company, like A&A Global, has been a part of my long-term strategy,” said Marty Bisk, founder of Store on Wheels, in a statement. “They share the same drive to grow this business and the same love that I have for this industry.”

Store on Wheels inventory and distribution will be handled out of A&A Global’s Cockeysville warehouse and A&A Global will open an office/showroom in New Jersey.

“The synergies between our companies is outstanding...,” said Brian Kovens, A&A Global’s executive vice president, in a statement. “We, and our customers, are poised for growth. Aside from a greater opportunity for all, it’s all business as usual with [Store on Wheels] and A&A Global.”
