Under Armour says it is restructuring its technology support system under a new partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
Under the move, HPE will provide "24/7, multi-lingual technical support for our teammates worldwide," company spokeswoman Diane Pelkey said in an email reply to a Sun query.
"Under Armour teammates impacted by this new model were offered job opportunities and there were no layoffs," Pelkey said.
Asked Wednesday how many workers were affected, she replied: "Approximately 10." She used the word "reassigned."
Under Armour has been growing rapidly. It employs nearly 2,000 workers in Baltimore, many at its existing headquarters at Tide Point, and expects a new campus to be built in Port Covington to eventually house more than 10,000.
