Under Armour continued to compile new collegiate partnerships, signing an agreement with the University of Cincinnati athletics department to become the official outfitter of Bearcats teams.

The deal is effective July 1. Cincinnati had previously been aligned with Adidas.

Under Armour said the agreement creates a "long-term partnership." Terms were not disclosed

The Bearcats play in the American Athletic Conference – also the home of Under Armour partners Temple and South Florida.

Cincinnati becomess the brand's fifteenth all-school partner in Division I.

Cincinnati athletic director Mike Bohn said in a statement that the Under Armour deal combines "two hot brands." Cincinnati finished 9-4 in football last season, losing to Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl. Its men's basketball team won its opening game in the NCAA tournament before losing to top-seeded Kentucky.

Bearcats football coach Tommy Tuberville previously coached at Texas Tech and Auburn – both Under Armour partners.

Under Armour said in a statement that it will "exclusively design and supply the footwear, apparel and equipment for training and gameday uniforms for each UC's 19 men's and women's varsity athletic teams."

Under Armour's other college partners include Notre Dame, Navy, Northwestern and the University of South Carolina. Last month, Under Armour said it was extending its deal with Boston College for 10 years.
