South Carolina, one of Under Armour's first big collegiate partners, extends deal with the Baltimore company

Under Armour has extended its deal to oufit all of the athletic teams at the University of South Carolina, one of its first big collegiate partners.

Under the new contract, the Baltimore athletic apparel company will continue as the official outfitter of the Gamecocks’ varsity teams through June 2026.

Auburn was Under Armour’s first big collegiate partner signing in 2006, before the company teamed with the University of Maryland - the alma mater of founder and CEO Kevin Plank - as its official oufitter in 2008.

The first South Carolina deal was signed in between - in 2007.

“The University of South Carolina has been one of our landmark partnerships within the NCAA and SEC,” said Ryan Kuehl, Under Armour's vice president for sports marketing and sponsorships.

The Southeastern Conference school has 21 varsity sports programs.
