Tom Brady headed to Asia on Under Armour trip

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is headed to China and Japan next month to promote Under Armour, football and the brand's new "athlete recovery" sleepwear that the quarterback is endorsing.

The trip begins on June 18 and includes stops in Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo. It will include football clinics and an event to mark the opening of the newest Shanghai Under Armour Brand House.

Brady will also showcase the brand's Athlete Recovery Sleepwear. Under Armour says the pajamas use bioceramics technology to help the body recover faster while promoting better sleep.

It calls the technology "TB12" -- Brady's initials and uniform number.

The quarterback, 39,  was signed by Under Armour in 2010.

Asia is a growing market for Under Armour. Its top basketball representative, Stephen Curry, has made two tours of China with the Baltimore-based company.
