Champs Sports is opening its second Under Armour shop-in-shop concept in Dallas after launching the first in Columbia.
The shop, called the Armoury at Champs Sports, debuted at the Mall in Columbia last fall. The new shop opening at the Galleria Dallas in Dallas, Texas, will sell Under Armour footwear, apparel and accessories.
David Heath, senior vice president of U.S. Wholesale for Under Armour, said the brand plans to showcase its newest apparel and footwear "in a retail setting that's designed to motivate and inspire young athletes."
Under Armour plans to send athlete endorsers to the store for appearances and autograph signings, including this weekend for grand opening events. Basketball and point guard superstars Emmanuel Mudiay and Rayment Felton plan to make appearances to open the shop.
Champs Sports is part of Foot Locker Inc., which runs more than 3,400 stores in 23 countries.
