British tennis star Andy Murray signs with Under Armour

Britain's Andy Murray returns to Serbia's Novak Djokovic during an exhibition match on day eight of the ATP World Tour Finals tennis tournament in London on November 16, 2014, following the withdrawal of Switzerland's Rodger Federer from the final match due to an injury. Roger Federer pulled out of his ATP Tour Finals showdown with Novak Djokovic just before the final was due to start Sunday because of a back injury, casting doubt on his fitness ahead of the Davis Cup final. Under Armour declined to comment on the terms of the agreement, which were not disclosed. Murray and a Murray representative did not respond immediately to requests for comment.

Sources told the Baltimore Sun earlier this month that a contract was in the works. Snagging the tennis champion reflects a push by the Baltimore sports apparel company to expand globally.
