Macton Road in northern Harford closed for bridge replacement

A portion of Macton Road in northern Harford County is closed to traffic for approximately eight months for bridge replacement.

The area affected on Macton Road is east of Davis Corner Road and west of Whiteford Road (Route 165) at the bridge over a tributary of Broad Creek, according to the Harford County Department of Public Works.

The closure took effect Jan. 31.

Motorists who normally travel over the affected area are advised to find an alternate route.
