Jean Heneks, of Laurel, is participating in Susquehanna University's Stadium Band this fall, playing at home football games, the homecoming parade, pep rally and special events.

Heneks, a sophomore chemistry major, is a 2011 graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, in Greenbelt. She is the daughter of Jeff and Julia Heneks, of Laurel.
