Woman, 70, robbed in Edgewood trailer park

An elderly woman was knocked to the ground and robbed last week in Harford Mobile Home Village in Edgewood.

The robbery was reported at 11:55 p.m. Aug. 28. The woman, 70, told Harford County sheriff's deputies she was thrown to the ground and her purse was stolen by an unknown man, according to a Metro Crime Stoppers Flier seeking information on the robbery.

The robber, whose race was unknown, was described as being about 5 feet, 5 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark, possibly black, clothing, including a hooded sweat shirt. The robber stole numerous personal items from the woman, police said.
