The fifth annual Maryland Half Marathon to benefit the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center will be held on Saturday, May 11, on a redesigned, faster course in the Maple Lawn community of Howard County. Registration for the 13.1-mile race is open at http://www.mdhalfmarathon.com.


The Central Maryland Soccer Association (CMSA) is accepting team registrations for the 18th Annual Bay State Holiday Indoor Soccer Tournament scheduled for Dec. 27-29 in Hampstead. The tournament is open to all school, recreation and club level travel teams throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Competition is available for boys and girls teams ages 8-18. The deadline for registration is Dec. 17. Registration and roster forms are available at cmsasoccer.com.

Track and field
