Okaro-Palmer wed in New York

Ngozi and Eric Palmer

Amy Powell, of Baltimore, and James Okaro, of Lagos, Nigera, announce the marriage of their daughter Ngozi Okaro, to Eric Palmer, son of Cecilia James, of Gastonia, N.C., and Clarence James, of Williamstown, N.J., on Sept. 24, 2011.

The bride is a graduate of Wilde Lake High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts from Morgan State University, and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She is currently self-employed as a philanthropic advisor.

The groom is a graduate of Glassboro High School, in Glassboro, N.J., and earned a Bachelor of Science from Wilkes University, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He is currently employed as a controller for Infrastructure Technologies Inc.

The ceremony was held at Christ Church United Methodist, in New York City. The Rev. Javier Viera and the Rev. Cathy Gilliard officiated. Angelique Dorsey and Delana Glenn served as bridal attendants. Andrew Feinberg served as the best man.

The couple honeymooned in Greece.
