Laurel Police plan sobriety checkpoint

The Laurel Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Saturday, Sept. 17, in an effort to raise the level of public awareness and inform citizens about the efforts that are being used to identify and apprehend impaired drivers.

The sobriety checkpoint will be held between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. at Eighth Street and Talbott Avenue (Route 198 westbound).
