Kathryn and Michael Dion, of Laurel, announce the birth of their son, Levi Michael Dion, on Sept. 6, 2011, at 10:41 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 2.3 ounces. His grandparents are Jackie and Ted Mints, of Newport, N.J.; and Rene and Christine Dion, of Assonet, Mass.
