Laurel church willing to share space to help in tough economy

One way for local businesses to survive hard times is to reduce their monthly expenses by sharing space. Often, monthly lease expenses can be cut in half if two businesses can share space.

The space we have is a 4,000-square-foot building off Route 1 near CarMax, with plenty of parking that allows for a church and other commercial uses of the building.

Often, churches only use their buildings a couple hours on Sunday and maybe two hours once a week at night for midweek Bible study. Other small businesses may need office space for administrative purposes Monday through Friday.

The Laurel Leader published a letter in 2006 of our need to share space in which another church responded, and it was a win-win situation for both churches. The other church has now found their own space, so we are again in need of another business to share space.

We are a friendly local church that is willing to share space with another church or small business that needs office or storage space.
