Harford Co. man shot in Edgewood

A Harford County man was shot in the torso Wednesday night during an attempted robbery in Edgewood, according to the county sheriff's office.

Several people called 911 to report gunshots at about 10:16 p.m., including one who said his storm door was damaged.

The victim, a Joppa resident, was found in the 400 block of Meadowood Drive and told deputies someone tried to rob him. He was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

Authorities are still investigating this incident but anyone with information is encouraged to call Det. Phil Golden in the sheriff's office criminal investigation division at 410-836-5430.

On Monday, a 28-year-old Hagerstown man was shot multiple times in the 500 block of Meadowood Drive. He was also taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition earlier this week.
