Weather Closings and Delays for February 19, 2021

The following weather announcements have been made:

Friday, February 19

Anne Arundel Community College: Closed. Online classes and remote student services continue

Carroll Community College: Other. C.ampus will open 10 a.m. Staff works remotely. F2F classes move online. Credit students check Canvas/email. CET students call 410-386-8457

Community College of Baltimore County: Delayed start. 11:00 AM

Coppin State University: Other. Employees should telework. Only essential employees should report to campus. All classes will continue as scheduled in a virtual format. All on-campus face-to-face classes will meet in a virtual format.

Harford Community College: Other. HCC and TUNE @TU_NEMD campus opening at 10 a.m. No in-person classes held before 10 a.m. Remote classes continue, unless notified by instructor.

Howard Community College: Other. Code Yellow All Day. Campus will not open.

Johns Hopkins University: Delayed start. 10:00 AM

Loyola University Maryland: Delayed start. 12:00 PM. Virtual work and learning will continue. Essential personnel should report as scheduled.

Maryland University of Integrative Health: Other. Opening on time.

McDaniel College: Closed. UPDATE: McDaniel College will now be closed today, Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. All hybrid and in-person classes will now be held online. Online undergraduate and graduate classes will proceed as normal. Campus offices, including Hoover Library, will be closed. Only essential employees will report, remotely or in-person, as required. MICA: Other. Inclement Weather Update: MICA Academic Buildings are Opening at 11 a.m., Online Classes, Telework not Impacted, Liberal leave in Effect Due to continued hazardous weather conditions, MICA academic facilities, including studios and shops will open at 11 a.m. For questions about rescheduling shop or studio access, contact the studio manager. The JHU-MICA Film Centre will also open at 11 a.m. Liberal leave is also in effect.

Morgan State University: Other. Campus will be closed. In-person instruction is canceled. Remote instruction and telework continue. Essential employees please report as directed.

Notre Dame of Maryland University: Closed. All classes will be held virtually at their regularly scheduled time. All staff to work remotely.

Towson University: Closed. Physical campus is closed. All instruction will be held virtually. Telework continues. COVID-19 sentinel testing canceled.

University of Maryland Baltimore: Delayed start. 10:00 AM. Telework, virtual learning as scheduled.

University of Maryland Baltimore County: Delayed start. 10:00 AM. Online classes and telework as scheduled

Washington College: Delayed start. 10:30 AM. Online classes will continue as scheduled

American Visionary Art Museum: Closed.

B&O Railroad Museum: Delayed start. 2 hour delay. Museum will open at 12 noon.

Maryland Zoo: Closed. Essential employees report as scheduled. Non-essential staff report at 10:30 am.

Archbishop Curley High School: Other. Students and teachers should follow the "Fully Virtual Schedule" for "Friday" as written on the attachment. First period will begin at 8:15 a.m. and virtual attendance is mandated for all students.

Archbishop Spalding High School: Other. Closed for in-person learning. This will be a virtual synchronous instructional day.

Boys' Latin School of Maryland: Other. Campus will be closed. All students will be learning virtually.

Calverton School: Other. Distance learning.

Calvert School: Delayed start. 2 hour delay

Concordia Preparatory School (Baltimore Lutheran): Other. Virtual operation.

Gerstell Academy: Closed. No classes for grades PK-12

Glenelg Country School: Other. Virtual learning only. Campus buildings are closed. Full details at glenelg.org

McDonogh School: Other. Campus Closed; Virtual School in session

Roland Park Country School: Other. Check emails.

Anne Arundel County schools: Other. Virtual instruction w/ school buildings closed. All instruction virtual and on normal schedules. No meal service, no transportation for nonpublic students. School-sponsored athletics/extracurricular activities may be held virtually. Central/Satellite offices open.

Baltimore City schools: Early close. 2 hours early. All in-person learning and meal sites will be closed. All students will access learning virtually. Additionally, virtual learning will release two hours early. The district office will remain open. However, the Multilingual Enrollment and Support Center and Enrollment, Choice, and Transfer offices will only be supporting families and schools virtually.

Baltimore County schools: Other. Virtual learning continues. Athletic practices/events are virtual. School employees work remotely. "Essential" employees report on time for assigned shifts. "Essential as Needed" employees report to work as scheduled (including working remotely) or may request to use leave time. Other office staff should work remotely.

Calvert County schools: Other. Grab 'N Go meal distribution Friday has been rescheduled for Monday. See your email for details. Note that some pickup times will change.

Carroll County schools: Closed.

Cecil County schools: Other. Virtual (synchronous) instruction. Offices will open 2 hours late.

Charles County schools: Other. Code V. Virtual instruction starts on time. Learning centers and internet cafes are closed. CCPS meal sites are closed and there is no mobile meal service.

Frederick County schools: Closed. All virtual day of instruction. Staff encouraged to telework. Staff who must report are on a 2-hour delay.

Harford County schools: Other. All buildings will open at 10 a.m. to staff. Technology hubs will be closed to students. First-shift custodians report on time.

Howard County schools: Other. Virtual instruction as scheduled, buildings are closed and meal service canceled. In-person activities are canceled

Kent County schools: Closed. Snow day. All KCPS offices are closed. Teleworking is approved and liberal leave is in effect for 12-month employees. Essential employees report as directed by their supervisor. Meals at community sites and schools will not be served. The vaccination clinic is canceled.

Montgomery County schools: Other. Virtual learning will continue as scheduled. Central offices will be open on time. School buildings are closed and all in-person activities and appointments (including child care and equity hubs) are canceled. Food distribution and technical services at 45 W. Gude are canceled.

Prince George's County schools: Other. Virtual learning continues on time. Schools and office buildings open with a two-hour delay. Emergency personnel report to work on time.

St. Mary's County schools: Closed.

Talbot County schools: Closed. All B Day and Virtual students will log in for virtual learning on their regular schedule.

Saturday, February 20

Maryland Zoo: Closed. Employees should report as scheduled.

Sunday, February 21

Maryland Zoo: Closed. Employees should report as scheduled.
