The Ravens won't waste any time seeing what Mark LeVoir can do.

The former New England Patriots offensive tackle will start Thursday night's contest against the Washington Redskins at right guard for Marshal Yanda, who is still dealing with back spasms. LeVoir was signed on Sunday, spent most of Monday lining up at right tackle with the first offense, and then moved to right guard on Tuesday.Rookie Jah Reid will start at right tackle. Reid, the club's third-round pick in April, got the nod over Oniel Cousins, who had started at right guard in Friday night's 31-13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs but has been groomed as an offensive tackle since the team selected him in the third round in 2008.

The Redskins will start Rex Grossman over John Beck at quarterback. Beck, who was with the Ravens during last year's training camp, had been dealing with a groin injury earlier in the month, but did start against the Indianapolis Colts last Friday and completed 14-of-17 passes for 140 yards. Grossman connected on 19-of-26 passing for 207 yards and a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Aug. 12.

Another former Raven, Josh Wilson, will not play. The cornerback will be replaced by Byron Westbrook.
