The big news about the lineup is Nolan Reimold is back on the bench after his big night last night, which included a three-run homer off St. Louis Cardinals lefty Jaime Garcia. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise because Reimold hasn't been playing against righties. However, I figured manager Buck Showalter may give him another chance to build off his performance last night. I figured wrong.

As expected, left-handed reliever Pedro Viola is in Atlanta. He'll officially be recalled to take Brian Matusz's roster spot.

Clay Rapada, who was designated for assignment earlier in the week with Alfredo Simon coming off the disabled list, has cleared waivers. He's expected to accept his assignment to Triple-A Norfolk.
