The Ravens placed four players on the physically unable to perform list Thursday.
Left guard Ben Grubbs (ankle), wide receiver David Reed (wrist), offensive tackle Ramon Harewood (knees) and defensive tackle Brandon McKinney (undisclosed) all can't practice until they are removed from the list.
"Some guys are going to be on the PUP [Physically Unable to Perform list] for short period of time, just so we can make sure that they're OK," coach John Harbaugh said after the first practice of training camp Thursday.Players can only be placed on PUP before the first practice of training camp. They count against the 90-player roster in the preseason.
If the players remain on the PUP at the start of the regular season, they will have to miss at least the first six weeks.
