Talking Oprah on CNN's Reliable Sources Sunday

It's been a busy week for me with lots of Oprah Winfrey stories and reviews, a visit to the production offices of HBO's "Game Change" and an interview with Michael Steele on his new job at MSNBC.

There's one more piece of Oprah business: Sunday at 11 a.m., East Coast time, I'll be on CNN's "Reliable Sources" talking about coverage of Winfrey's final week in syndication with host Howie Kurtz and former New York Times pop culture correspondent Lola Ogunnaike.

Kurtz also has a look at the GOP presidential craziness with: John Aravosis, Founder AmericaBlog.com.; Christina Bellantoni, CQ Roll ; Ramesh Ponnuru, National Review. Plus, there's a Kurtz interview with Chris Licht, the new VP for programming at CBS News and former MSNBC 'Morning Joe' executive producer.

I'll get some of Steele interview up this weekend. We had a good, spirited conversation. Steele is always spirited, and I mean that in a good way.

Plus, I'll get the "Game Change" feature story up as well -- as production designer Michael Corenblith and set decorator Tiffanny Zappulla explain how they made Baltimore look like Alaska, New York, Washington, Phoenix, St. Louis, St. Paul, Dayton and a dozen other places on the McCain-Palin campaign trail in 2008.

Hint on Alaska: They had to track down a 9-foot stuffed grizzly bear and build a state fair booth that sold reindeer sausage.

So, please stop back and let me know what you think. And check out "Reliable Sources" Sunday morning.
