Nick Faust recommits to Maryland

Transitions can be unsettling, but the Maryland men's basketball team -- undergoing all that comes with a coaching change -- had a big day Tuesday.

First came word that new coach Mark Turgeon had rounded out his staff and hired well-known recruiter Dalonte Hill from Kansas State. Turgeon retained Bino Ranson from Gary Williams' staff, and brought in Scott Spinelli from the Texas A&M, said a source close to the program.

Now we hear that shooting guard Nick Faust has chosen Maryland. Again.

Faust, recruited by Gary Williams' staff, had reopened his recruitment after the coaching switch. But his father texted the Baltimore Sun's Matt Bracken tonight and said Faust is sticking with his original plan to enroll at Maryland.

Faust (City) is a 6-6 wing player who can score in a variety of ways. He seems like a big-time recruit.
