Here's a bit of good news for Baltimore: According to the U.S. Postal Service, the city is not one of the country's worst cities for dog bites.
Or, at least, Baltimore dogs haven't been biting the mailman.
The unfortunate title goes to Houston, where last year dogs bit 62 postal workers. Filing out the rest of the list of shame are, in order, Columbus Ohio, San Diego, Los Angeles, Louisville, San Antonio, St. Louis, Cleveland, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Portland, Denver, Philadelphia, Sacramento and Seattle.
The Postal Service released the figures for National Dog Bite Prevention Week, which is this week.
Last year, 5,669 postal employees were attacked in more than 1,400 cities, according to the organization.
