Maryland will represent the ACC next fall in the eight-team Puerto Rico Tip-Off tournament.
The 12-game event, played at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan starting Nov. 17, also features Alabama, Colorado, Iona, Purdue, Temple, Western Michigan and Wichita State.
The Terps are the lone Puerto Rico Tip-Off participant that didn't play in a postseason tournament this year. The Boilermakers and Owls played in the NCAA tournament, while the Crimson Tide, Buffaloes and Shockers all advanced to the NIT Final Four. The Gaels fell to Santa Clara in the College Insider championship game. The Broncos made it to the second round of the College Insider tournament.
ESPN Regional Television will broadcast the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
