The Ravens didn't take a fullback in the three-day draft, but they did land a big, 230-pound running back. They got Anthony Allen in the seventh round with the 225th overall pick.
Allen rushed for 1,843 yards in two years in Georgia Tech's triple-option offense, starting all 26 games he played. He transferred to Tech after two years in Louisville, where he ran for 1,102 yards in 25 games.
Allen, 6-1, is a thick, downhill runner who will have to adapt to the pro-style offense in the NFL.
With the uncertain labor situation, the Ravens aren't certain if they'll be able to retain fullback Le'Ron McClain, who is a four-year veteran.
