The NFL announced today that the 2011 schedule will be released Tuesday at 7 p.m. To get a printable 2011 Ravens schedule go to www.baltimoresun.com/ravens shortly after the announcement.
Assuming that a collective bargaining agreement is in place prior to the 2011 season, the Ravens will face four teams that made the 2010 playoffs.
Besides home contests against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals from the AFC North, the Ravens will meet the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans from the AFC South, the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers from the NFC West and the second-place team in the AFC East, the New York Jets.
The game against the 49ers will be the first time in NFL history that brothers are on opposite sidelines as head coaches. Jim Harbaugh took over as coach of the 49ers on Jan. 7.
In addition to road games against the Steelers, Browns and Bengals, the Ravens would travel to face the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans from the AFC South, the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks from the NFC West and the second-place team in the AFC West, which is the San Diego Chargers.
