The Ravens are commonly linked to Maryland wide receiver Torrey Smith and Colorado cornerback Jimmy Smith in mock drafts. But Pro Football Weekly added another candidate in its latest mock draft: Temple defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson.
A 6-foot-4, 305-pound junior, Wilkerson is a fast-rising prospect who recorded seven sacks in 2009 and 9.5 sacks last season.
PFW draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki explained: "In Haloti Ngata, the Ravens have one of the best defensive linemen in football, but he could use some more help after Trevor Pryce surprisingly departed for the Jets last season. Wilkerson's instincts are still raw, but he has the size and length ideally sought at the five-technique position."
