1. Lupe Fiasco, Lasers
I've got a lot of love for Chicago hip-hop, and Lupe is definitely included. Food & Liquor had triumphant lyrical moments, and The Cool was a rare, well-received hip-hop concept album. After the apparent tug-of-war between Lupe and his record label, I'm curious to see what he does on this long-awaited album. Drops Tuesday. JASMINE WIGGINS, B

2. 'The Walking Dead' on DVD and Blu-ray
For some reason, we all seem to be obsessed with zombies. The short yet action-packed first season of this AMC original series explains why. Out Tuesday. KATE MCGONIGLE, B

3. Lacrosse: 2011 Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic
Start growing your shaggy hair. Six of the biggest names in college lacrosse will descend on Baltimore this Saturday, with No. 1 Syracuse facing No. 18 Georgetown, No. 2 Virginia playing No. 4 Cornell and No. 11 Johns Hopkins taking on UMBC. $12-$35. Starts at 11 a.m. at M&T Bank Stadium. faceoffclassic.com LUKE BROADWATER, B

4. Docs in a row

Two of the best documentaries of 2010 — “Exit Through the Gift Shop” and Oscar-winner “Inside Job” — arrive on Blu-ray Tuesday, and NBC’s Meredith Vieira will moderate a discussion titled “Are Documentary Filmmakers the New Journalists?” at MICA’s Brown Center at 6 p.m. Friday (410.752.8083 for tickets, $90-$250).

5. Yelawolf

Eminem’s favorite Alabama boy spits vivid tales of the South’s grimy side with a loving, contagious affection. He’s also one hell of a live performer. See for yourself Monday at the Rock & Roll Hotel. 1353 H Street N.E., Washington. 8 p.m. doors. $15.

WESLEY CASE, B

6. Bethenny Frankel — Skinny Girl Night Out

Why yes, I would pay to hear the former “Real Housewives of New York” star talk about her life. What can I say? I’m easily amused, and the Skinny Girl herself makes me giggle. 8 p.m. Saturday at the Hippodrome. $35-$125.

7. 'The Real World: Las Vegas'

Weren’t they just in Las Vegas for “The Real World,” or did I just stop paying attention? OK, so it was in 2002, but still. The show’s 25th season premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. on MTV.

8. Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Party

If you couldn’t make it down to the Big Easy (if you’re reading this, chances are you didn’t), Bourbon Street’s party is (sort-of) close. Stilt walkers, Hurricanes, those human statue things ... all here. Plus, a bead contest. Free admission Tuesday.

9.'Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman' on DVD

Confession: I didn’t actually watch this smarty-pants Science Channel series narrated by my (dream) grandfather (it covers astrobiology and quantum mechanics and other stuff I’ll never understand). But I can resist adding a DVD titled “Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman” to my collection. Out Tuesday.

10. 'Snow Falling on Cedars'

I’m not sure how easy it’s going to be to translate David Guterson’s haunting novel to the stage (it involves World War II, race relations, a murder mystery and a love triangle), but I’m assuming Center Stage will do a great job. Hopefully, it won’t evoke the 1999 film adaptation with Ethan Hawke. Opens Wednesday, and runs through April 3. $15-$55. 700 N. Calvert St.
