Update: We thought it was fishy that the Associated Press reported that the Ravens' John Harbagh was among five NFL head coaches at Missouri's pro day today, presumably to see quarterback Blaine Gabbert in action.
It turns out that it was Jim Harbaugh, the new 49ers coach, not John, at the workout. The 49ers definitely need a quarterback and they draft No. 7 overall.
The Ravens, who have Joe Flacco, select 26th in April's draft and Gabbert is expected to be long gone by then. Some draft experts say he could even go No. 1 to the Carolina Panthers, who sent several representatives but not coach Ron Rivera, who was scheduled to attend but did not, the AP report said.
According to the AP, the crowd at Missouri's pro day included Jim Harbaugh, Denver Broncos vice president John Elway and coach John Fox, New York Jets coach Rex Ryan, Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, Leslie Frazier of the Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee coach Mike Munchak.
