Talk about a blockbuster interview.
Oprah has announced that she'll be interviewing Michael Vick. The interview will be broadcast on an episode of her show to air Feb. 24.
Wow. One only has to wonder what Oprah, a well-known dog lover, will ask Vick, who served time in jail for his role in a dog-fighting ring. Plenty of people are not ready to forgive Vick, despite his work for the Humane Society of the United States, mainly speaking to young people about regretting what he did.
If you were Oprah, what would you like to ask Vick about?
Keep in mind that Oprah isn't just a dog lover, a woman often seen with her beloved Cocker Spaniels. A few years ago, she helped bring the issue of puppy mills to the mainstream when she devoted a show to the topic. She said she did it in honor of one of her pups, Sophie, who at the time had just passed away.
Vick was in the news recently when it was reported that President Obama called the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles and mentioned that he was glad that the Eagles gave Vick a second chance. The call upset many.
According to a release, during the one-on-one with Vick, "Among other topics, Vick will discuss his time spent in prison after being convicted for his part in an illegal dogfighting ring, his subsequent return to the National Football League, his work with the Humane Society of the United States and his plans for the future."
