It's official: Maryland will honor Greivis Vasquez at the Feb. 20 N.C. State game at Comcast Center. The school presumably will send his name and number to the rafters.

The Terps don't retire numbers, so Pe'Shon Howard will continue to wear Vasquez's old No. 21.

There are other numbers in the rafters that are are being worn tonight -- such as Lonny Baxter's No. 35 (James Padgett's number).

Vasquez is expected to be present (of course) for the event. He now plays for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies.
