Irish Canton Stroll, National Pancake Day and more in 10spot

1. Irish Canton Stroll
It's less a stroll, more a drunken lumbering through Canton bars to help prepare your liver for St. Patrick's Day. May the luck of the Irish be with you. 1-9 p.m. Saturday. $7-$10. Register at Looney's (2900 O'Donnell St.) or purchase tickets at lindypromo.com. (Right, photo by The Baltimore Sun) JORDAN BARTEL, B

2. Hipster Tuesday
With Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (Alexander), Lucinda Williams (Blessed) and Papercuts (Fading Parade) all dropping albums Tuesday, it's like the stars have aligned for a new hipster holiday. Maybe we'll rename March 1 after Pomplamoose or irony? Seriously, you won't go wrong checking out any of their albums. LUKE BROADWATER, B

3. PBR Baltimore
Time to cowboy up! What Baltimore really needs is a country-themed bar with a mechanical bull. And that's exactly what you will find in PBR, the city's newest nightclub at Power Plant Live. Opens 7 p.m. Friday. BRIAN KRISTA, B

4. Lykke Li, Wounded Rhymes
A young Swede heads to Los Angeles with hopes the sun will balance out her darker moods. It doesn't, but the songs are remarkable all the same. Standout track: "Unrequited Love." Out Tuesday. WESLEY CASE, B

5. National Pancake Day
I've never met a pancake I didn't like ... and then promptly eat. Thankfully, IHOP, who loves pancakes as much as me, will be giving away a free short stack Tuesday. For locations and times, go to ihoppancakeday.com. MARISSA GALLO, B

6. Harlem Globetrotters in D.C.
The always-entertaining Globetrotters (left, photo by Getty) are celebrating their 85th year! I'm thinking those old guys must be pretty easy to beat these days. 1 p.m. Saturday at the Verizon Center. $17-$154. verizoncenter.com. ADAM SAPIRO, B

7. Maryland Home and Garden Show
Call me a grandma, but I love home and garden shows. There's something about ridiculously expensive landscaping and abundance of vendors hawking home-improvement ideas that just makes me giddy. The Maryland Home and Garden Show runs Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and is also open March 11-13. Maryland State Fairgrounds, Timonium. mdhomeandgarden.com. DANIELLE KEES, B

8. Ra Ra Riot
It's going to be a good week. Why? Ra Ra Riot play Rams Head Live on Thursday. (I told you). $18. 7 p.m. doors. 20 Market Place, Harbor. JASMINE WIGGINS, B

9. 'Love and Other Drugs' on DVD

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway co-star in this film that delivers a good balance of cuteness and seriousness. Out Tuesday. KATE MCCONIGLE, B

10. DeVotchKa, 100 Lovers

Every aspect of DeVotchKa's music conspires to transport you to some romantic, Eastern European setting populated by soulful Mexican Gypsies. Seriously. The new album, which NPR has been streaming, ever-so-slightly enlargens the band's cinema-worthy world. Drops Tuesday. ANNE TALLENT, B
