City Paper's annual free movie night -- the alt-weekly's thank you to its readers "for being so incredibly awesome" -- has been incredibly well-timed this year for the evening of the Oscar nominations.
Now playing: "Blue Valentine," with Michelle Williams, and "Rabbit Hole," with Nicole Kidman, both best actress nominees, and also "The Fighter," up for best picture, best director, best original script, best supporting actor (Christian Bale), best supporting actress (Amy Adams and Melissa Leo), and best editing.
You also have a couple of non-Oscar choices: "Casino Jack" and "Somewhere."
Seating is "first come, first served," and City Paper cautions, "We do ask that you are RESPECTFUL while at the event. Line up and be patient, please. No pushing, shoving, etc. Thank you."
