FROM TODAY'S PRINT EDITIONS:
Cheer up! Sunrise today was a few seconds earlier than yesterday. Our daylight hours are now increasing at both ends of the day. That’s because Wednesday morning’s sunrise was the latest of the year – 7:27 a.m. for Baltimoreans. It was a bit earlier at the beach, later at Deep Creek. Sunsets have been advancing since Dec. 8. By month’s end, we will have added 12 minutes of sunlight in the morning, and 29 minutes in the afternoon. Can spring be far behind?
