Mo'Nique refused to play politics during Oscar season last year. Instead of lobbying with voters she let her prodigious acting as the abusive mother in "Precious" speak for itself. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences rewarded her with its best supporting actress Oscar. And it honored her again today when it announced that she and the Academy's president, Tom Sherak, would be the team revealing the nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards on Jan. 25, at 8:30 a.m.
