Something that not many people know about you: "A lot of people don't know that I'm really close with [Wizards point guard] John Wall -- he's one of my good friends -- and Brandon Banks that plays for the Redskins. I've been friends with John Wall since middle school."
Best football moment: "[On] my birthday last year, I had 232 receiving yards, two touchdowns and one interception."
Role model: "My mom because she is a strong woman. She showed me how to be strong in life. Everything I've been through, she's helped me through it."
Why Maryland? "Mainly because it's been the most consistent coaching staff that's recruited me. They didn't stop recruiting me no matter what I did. When I came up to campus, I know they didn't have a good season last year, but that wasn't the biggest thing. It was just the coaches and the campus. My recruiting coach [Charles Bankins] left [for Vanderbilt], but [Terps wide receivers coach Lee] Hull stayed, so it worked out good for me. I've already met Coach [Randy] Edsall, and me and him are building a relationship already."
