I just arrived at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, the site of today's Ravens-Steelers divisional-round showdown. There's not much to report at the moment other than that it's pretty windy outside the cozy confines of the press box and that the hot chocolate here is mediocre at best.
Despite the wind -- weather.com says it's blowing at 18 mph and gusting up around 30 mph -- it didn't feel that cold outside. It's around 37 degrees now, and the temperature is expected to dip a few degrees during the game. We might get a light dusting of snow, but that will be it.
We're still waiting to find out if Ravens cornerback Chris Carr and center Matt Birk will suit up today. I'm guessing they will. Ditto for running back Ray Rice, who is reportedly battling the flu.
Making the trip from Baltimore to Pittsburgh this morning, I saw a bunch of Ravens jerseys and purple flags, so it looks like Charm City will be well-represented. Did any of you make the trip?
