Lewis' return to Bengals not surprising to Houshmandzadeh

On Tuesday, Marvin Lewis and the Cincinnati Bengals agreed to a two-year contract, bringing back the longest-tenured coach in franchise history despite rampant speculation that the former Ravens defensive coordinator was gone after this season.

At least one person outside of Cincinnati thought Lewis would return.

"I figured it would happen," said Ravens wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who spent the first eight years of his career with the Bengals and six with Lewis. "Good for him. It's good for them as a team [because] of the type of coach he is. But I would assume that they'll be pretty good next year."
