AirTran to offer seasonal service from BWI to SFO

Beginning this spring, AirTran will offer a daily nonstop flight between Baltimore and San Francisco. As of now, only United Airlines serves BWI-SFO route with one daily nonstop flight. So starting May 26, travelers will have another option for getting to San Francisco.

Flight 1190 will depart BWI at 8:14 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 11:09 p.m. The return, Flight 1191, departs SFO at 11:59 p.m. and arrives at BWI at 8:14 a.m.

In addition, AirTran also begins seasonal service to Los Angeles on March 8 and to Seattle on May 4, 2011. The airline will also begin previously announced service to Bermuda and increase service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to twice daily on April 5, while adding a second daily flight on Saturdays and Sundays to Montego Bay, Jamaica on Feb. 26.
