On Sunday, former Terps and current Dolphins player Nolan Carroll was on the receiving end of a cheap shot from Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi. Carroll was running down the sidelines as a gunner on a punt return and Alosi, standing in a Jets track suit, extended his knee to trip Carroll. Carroll crashed and burned, was treated by trainers and eventually limped off the field.
The Dolphins were understandably ticked off, and Alosi apologized in a statement on Sunday night. But this guy has to be suspended by the NFL and fired by the Jets, right? You be the judge:
