Andy Cook's new photography book chronicles past five years of Baltimore nightlife and music

Cook is a Towson-born photographer who two years ago began a documentary series that profiled Americans who'd lost work during the recession. But, since before that, he'd also been chronicling local nightlife and music.

The new books, "Sound of Fire" and "In the Air," were released in October; I just got copies this week. The pictures in "Sound of Fire" are from the past five years, and feature Beach House, Dan Deacon, and Celebration, among others.
