Three Ravens make Peter King's All-Pro team

Three Ravens were named to Peter King's midseason All-Pro team -- which will be published in this week's Sports Illustrated -- and you will probably be surprised by a couple of his selections.

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata made the team, which isn't a shocker (and Ngata is King's pick for NFL Defensive Player of the Year). But right tackle Marshal Yanda and kicker Billy Cundiff were two unexpected additions to King's 26-man squad. Yanda was moved to tackle from his regular guard position, and Cundiff had to earn his roster spot during training camp and the preseason.

I'm not going to spoil this week's magazine for you by giving you King's whole midseason All-Pro team, but Yanda and Cundiff are two of several eyebrow-raising names on his squad.

As I mentioned in this previous post, Ravens running back Ray Rice was selected by his peers as one of the NFL's most underrated players.

Sports Illustrated

's Jim Trotter and Damon Hack predicted how the rest of the season will play out, and they have the Ravens earning the sixth seed in the AFC, beating the Chiefs in the wild-card round then losing to the first-seeded Steelers in the divisional round. Your thoughts?
