Courtesy of the team's top-notch staff of researchers, several Ravens players are close to reaching notable milestones and could do so next Sunday when the Miami Dolphins visit M&T Bank Stadium. Here is a list of potential achievements:
QB Joe Flacco: He is tied with Kyle Boller with 45 passing touchdowns, which ranks second in franchise history. Flacco is just seven passing scores away from eclipsing Vinny Testaverde as the team's all-time leader.
TE Todd Heap: He needs just one touchdown catch to register 40 in his career.
WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh: Five catches would give him 600 for his career and help him become the 52nd player in league history to reach that plateau.
LB Ray Lewis: He needs just one more interception to record 30 in his career, which would make him just the eighth linebacker in NFL history to reach that mark.
RB Willis McGahee: He needs just two receiving yards to get 1,000 for his career. McGahee also needs just six rushing yards for 6,000 in his career, which would make him the eighth active running back to achieve that milestone.
WR Derrick Mason: He needs just 11 more receptions to reach 900 in his career.
