Mike Goodson may be the fourth-string running back on Carolina's depth chart, but he did enough to earn the Ravens' attention.

Playing because of injuries to DeAngelo Williams (sprained right arch), Jonathan Stewart (concussion) and Tyrell Sutton (ankle), Goodson carried the ball 22 times for 120 yards, including a 45-yard scamper through the heart of the defense in the first quarter.

Goodson joined the Cleveland Browns' Peyton Hillis as the only opposing running backs to reach the 100-yard mark against the Ravens this season

"This guy is fast," coach John Harbaugh said of Goodson. "He's fast, and he's big, and he's elusive. We kind of recognized that from last week [when Goodson rushed for 100 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers]. I'm kind of disappointed that he got back onto the field to get the yards that he got at the end on those two plays they were trying to get yards on. That's our fault, but he's a good player."
